LUMINE 's largest new facility, "NEWoMan TAKANAWA", has opened! With approximately 200 diverse shops, NEWoMan TAKANAWA will continue to take on new challenges as a place that offers new experiences and value, with an eye on the next 100 years.
To coincide with the town's opening on March 27th, Blue Bottle Coffee and Nicolai Bergmann will be opening early!

Business Creation Facilities

"TAKANAWA GATEWAY Link Scholars' Hub" is a business creation facility that, in partnership with The University of Tokyo, National University of Singapore, and others, brings together over 100 domestic and Business creation facillties with academia, accelerators, and venture capital to generate and nurture knowledge that will lead to enriched lives for the next 100 years.

Cultural Hub

“MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives” a cultural hub set to become a symbol of the city’s culture and activity. (Scheduled to open in 2026) "MON" means "gate" in Japanese. The concept behind this facility is driven by the mission: "Transporting culture for the next 100 years." By connecting traditions and cultural heritage that have flourished over time with contemporary values and technology, it seeks to create new narratives that will carry on to the future.

Convention

"TAKANAWA GATEWAY Convention Center" is a MICE * facility located on the 2nd basement floor, 1st basement floor and 6th floor of THE LINKPILLAR 1 SOUTH. In addition to the multi-purpose hall "LINKPILLAR Hall" (approximately 1,640 m2), which is one of the largest facilities in central Tokyo that is directly connected to a station, it has 14 venues of various sizes, ranging from approximately 50 m2 to 500 m2.
* MICE is an acronym for Meeting, Incentive Travel, Convention, and Exhibition/Event. It is a general term for business events.

Luxury hotel brand JW Marriott opens its first hotel in the greater Tokyo area. JW Marriot features around 200 guestrooms, restaurants, a fitness center and Spa, and so more. Residence

This premium residence (for rent) includes international standard high-rise and terraced residences that cater to expats (foreign business workers). Tokyo International School is scheduled to open on the lower floors, and features suitable for an educational and child-rearing environment for expats are being introduced.
