The twin towers will be constructed in TAKANAWA GATEWAY Station and will be a symbol of the international exchange hub. Taking advantage of its location adjacent to the station, the complex will house high-grade offices that are expected to house the headquarters of major international companies, as well as large-scale convention facilities that will attract international conferences. MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives
The building features approximately 1,500 square meters of exhibition space, a theater space with LEDs covering the entire stage, and a tatami mat space of approximately 100 tatami mats, accommodating a wide range of expressions from exhibitions to performances and hands-on experiences. Furthermore, it includes accessible accommodation spaces such as Foot Bath terrace, Moon Viewing Terrace, a shrine, and a farm, as well as Restaurant and cafes, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in culture throughout the day. The striking and symbolic spiral-shaped building's exterior design was created by Kengo Kuma & Associates. The exterior, which makes extensive use of wood and is covered in greenery, seamlessly connects the indoors and outdoors. Much of the planting consists of native Japanese species, allowing visitors to feel the changing seasons.

This terrace space is designed to reflect the moon's image. Seasonal events such as cherry blossom viewing and moon viewing will also be held here. You can enjoy the changing expressions of the moon with the seasons and time of day, while superimposing them with the coastal scenery that existed in this area during the Edo period.

This open space is perfect for meeting up. It can also be used for parties, music concerts, fashion shows, and other events. From the soon-to-be completed park in front of the building, you can overlook the remains of the Takanawa embankment, which was built to allow Japan's first railway to run over the sea.

This is a place to enshrine the deities who protect TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY. Branch shrines have been established from the local shrines, Takanawa Shrine and Mita Hachiman Shrine, and the deities of both shrines are enshrined here.

This rooftop cherry blossom viewing spot allows you to enjoy flowers that change their appearance with the seasons. In spring, seven different varieties of cherry blossoms, which bloom at different times, adorn the terrace in succession.

The operator will be Tokyo International School (TIS), an educational institution accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), an international school accreditation body, and approved by the International Baccalaureate international education program, and an international education system is planned to be introduced.TIS offers a consistent International Baccalaureate educational program (*2) from kindergarten through 11th grade (from kindergarten senior year to second year of high school) (*1). The majority of the parents of the students are expatriates from embassies and foreign companies in Japan, making it an international school with approximately 470 students from 73 countries (as of September 2025).

With a comfortable, park-like space, it will evolve into a place worthy of a next-generation station that will serve as a gateway to the city. Inspired by the Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō, the concept for Tokyo's largest public realm, spanning 4 hectares, is "53 Playable Park," which will feature a variety of plazas and streets. You can travel around the city comfortably in an autonomous mobility vehicle that can accommodate up to three people. You can enjoy the charms of TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY even more deeply through the audio guidance provided by the mobility vehicle. Some of the mobility vehicles are charged with electricity generated using hydrogen derived from renewable energy.
